Opening Event Day | Edgewater Park – July 31

The Cleveland Corporate Challenge Season will kickoff with Opening Event Day!

All companies will gather at Edgewater Park to compete in 4 events:

10K Relay

Race begins at 9:00am for ALL DIVISIONS, participants please arrive early to check-in! Check out the Course Map Here!

UPDATE: Teams will run with a baton throughout the relay. The baton will be handed to the first runner at the start line. The baton will be handed off between participants in the exchange zone. The baton will be equipped with a B-Tag timing chip that will allow us to track each runners time for their leg of the race. No bib will be required. The 6th runner on your team will turn in the baton at the finish line

1 Mile Fun Walk

Walk will begin immediately following the 10K Relay Race. Walkers will begin at the 10K Exchange point, and walk the same course as the 10K Relay.

Carnival Challenge

Following the 1 Mile Fun Walk, Division 3 will compete in the Carnival Challenge. After the completion of this event, Division 3 will move on to the Tug-of-War Tournament.

Airgas Tug-of-War

Following the 1 Mile Fun Walk, Division 1 & 2 will compete in the Tug-of-War Tournament. After the completion of this event, Divisions 1 & 2 will move on to the Carnival Challenge.

Participants in this event MUST wear long sleeves! Please be sure to review all of the Rules of Play for this event to make sure your team is eligible to compete!

Tug Clinic (Practice Session) – Tuesday, July 27 @ 6:00pm!

Edgewater Park

The Tug Clinic is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for participants to attend. The Tugmeister will be on-site to provide instruction, practice opportunities and tips to prepare your team for the tournament!
